Presidents Report | 2022 AMMNA Championships

Steve McInnes, SAMMNA President April saw SAMMNA host the return of the AMMNA National Championships at Netball SA Stadium. This was the 35th edition of the Championships which finally occurred some 1,080+ days after the 34th event was held in Melbourne. The event was slightly smaller than expected to occur in 2020 with just 39 teams instead of the projected 49 teams making the trip to Adelaide.

Southern Dragons & M League Update

It has been over 1000 days since the best male and mixed netball athletes in Australia hit the court at the annual Australian Men’s and Mixed Netball Association (AMMNA) Championships. In 2019 the South Australian Men’s and Mixed Netball Association (SAMMNA) was selected to host the Championships for the first time since 1995. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing coronavirus the AMMNA Championships have been cancelled for the last 2 years (2020 and 2021).

Junior M League 2021/22 Summer Season | Registrations

SAMMNA is excited to announce that Junior M League will return this coming Summer Season at Netball SA on Monday Evenings. SAMMNA are currently taking both individual and team registrations for this coming Summer Season. Boys and Mens Netball is on the rise in South Australia and now is the time to get involved! Junior M League is targeted for Boys aged 12-16 years old.

Social M League 2021/22 Summer Season Registrations are now open for both our Monday Night Mixed Competition at Netball SA Stadium and our Thursday Night Mixed and Men’s Competition at the Lights Sports and Community Centre. We are excited to introduce a social Men’s specific competition in addition to our current mixed competitions.
